River Leza
This is a short river in La Rioja. It rises in the northern foothills of the Sierra de Monterreal, in the foothills of the Iberian mountain range, and flows into the Ebro on the right bank, in the municipality of Agoncillo. Its main tributary is the River Jubera, which it receives on the right at Murillo de Río Leza.
The Leza River Canyon is a spectacular landscape, which forms part of the Biosphere Reserve of the Leza, Jubera, Cidacos and Alhama Valleys. The large limestone cliffs, some of which are 200 m high, give way to the river Leza, which erodes the terrain.
