It dates from the 16th century and is located next to the municipal cemetery and the old threshing floors, having been one of the three parishes that Torrecilla en Cameros once had, together with the current parish church of San Martín and the one dedicated to the Virgen de la Expectación (hermitage of San Antón). Religious worship was lost in Las Vegas around the 1950s and, later, in 1964, the church suffered the collapse of the tower and bell tower.
