Viniegra de Arriba
Cumbre de Las Siete Villas (1182 mts.) situada en plena sierra riojana, se encuentra al sur de la Provincia de La Rioja, en el curso alto del río Najerilla. Esta regada por los ríos Ormazal y Castejón y rodeada de cumbres que rozan los 1800 metros (Rastraculos, La Muela, Añiquete etc.) y la del pico Urbión (2228 mts) limitando con la provincia de Soria.
La ganadería es la principal actividad del municipio, aunque su cabaña sea claramente inferior a la de épocas pasadas. En la misma predomina el ovino sobre el vacuno y el equino.
Pertenece a la asociación de «Pueblos Más Bonitos de España»

The summit of Las Siete Villas (1182 m) is located in the heart of the Rioja mountains, in the south of the province of La Rioja, in the upper course of the river Najerilla. It is watered by the rivers Ormazal and Castejón and is surrounded by peaks reaching 1800 metres (Rastraculos, La Muela, Añiquete, etc.) and the Urbión peak (2228 metres), bordering the province of Soria.
Livestock farming is the main activity in the municipality, although the number of livestock is clearly lower than in the past. Sheep predominate over cattle and horses.
It belongs to the association of «Pueblos Más Bonitos de España» (Most Beautiful Villages of Spain).
